Choo! Choo! Here we go off to Seattle for a two day train ride across the good old USA. Plenty of books are packed along with an assortment of games, cards, writing paper and all the other old fashion kinds of things you do when you don't have internet access.
I'm looking forward to a relaxing trip seeing the vast countryside as we amble through the Rocky Mountains, Glacier National Park and other visually appealing natural wonders. The evening will be interesting with the two of us along with our fellow passengers passing the time without scenery (or the internet) to keep us occupied. Good heavens, we may have to talk to each other.
Dutiful daughter will be posting for the next few days until we land or dock or whatever a train does to stop.
